The Escuaín gorges can be seen from the villages of Revilla or Escuain, that can easily be accessed by roads.
This small town is located at 1,100 meters above sea level. It is located on the left side of the Yaga River, on steep vertical walls near the Gorges of Escuaín that can be seen on a comfortable walk through its lookouts.
This village is uninhabited a good part of the year. Livestock has been and still is the main livelihood of those who decided not to leave the mountain villages so you may see some farms animals around.
