The Fet canyon comprises the natural space located in the southern part of the Sierra del Montsec through which the Noguera Ribagorçana river passes. The canyon is south of the Mont-rebei canyon and links the two parts of the Canelles dam. Like its neighboring canyon, it separates the Montsec d'Ares (Catalonia) from the Montsec de l'Estall (Aragon) and is one of the few virgin canyons of Catalonia. The Fet canyon is characterized throughout its 5 km by its high defiles and by being narrow. Besides, from the vulture colony of its last section.

The canyon is a natural reserve where you could observe millinary holm oaks and animals such as lammergeyer, the vultures or the otters among others.

The excursion will start at the Corçà pier in the upper part of the Canellas reservoir. You will go south through some 300-meter defiles, at the top of one of them you will see the Torre de Conclues (s.XIII), built to control the bed of the Noguera Ribagorçana river. Next, you will observe that the canyon makes a 180º turn to the left to go, posteriorly, towards the south in the direction of the lower part of the dam. Before finishing the ravine, you will find some 100 m defiles where there lives a colony of Griffon Vulture that you will be able observe from few meters away.

The route has a length of 14 km between round trip. The duration of the activity is approximately 4h and its difficulty is low - medium.
