Discover the river Fluvià from Sant Pere Pescador
This is a walking and guided route from the town of Sant Pere Pescador to the mouth of the river Fluvià.
Throughout the tour, you will follow the last stretch of the river Fluvià to the sea, crossing part of the Aiguamolls and other locations as the Illa d'en Caramany.
An ideal environment for bird watching and all kinds of flora and fauna. And above all, a perfect opportunity to learn more about the Fluvià river: its ancient paths, how it has been changing its flow and its mouth over the years, etc. dramatically changing the landscape of the Empordà plain and even the coast line.
Without a doubt, a walking route for all those nature, Aiguamolls de l'Empordà, river Fluvià and Costa Brava lovers.
Conditions of Discover the river Fluvià from Sant Pere Pescador
This activity will be done on Saturdays and Sundays.
10am is the suggested hour in order to begin. And Sant Pere Pescador's Tourism Office will be the meeting point with the guides.
The whole route is round so, it will start and finish right at the same place.
The total route is 7km long and has a slope of 5m. The activity lasts for about 2h.
During summer time, we recommend you to bring water, sun screen and something to protect yourselves from the sun (a cap or sun glasses, for example).
