An introductory route to snowshoeing around Vallter2000.

It's a completely family activity and technically easy (it does not require any type/kind of previous knowledge).

Even though, having a minimum level of fitness is advisable.

You will start your route on the same ski resort of Vallter2000 and you will continue until you reach the source of the Ter river.

During part of the night a guide will be with you to show you the path to follow and teach you the technique.

Conditions of Snowshoe night route for beginners at Vallter2000

This activity will last four hours and it will start at 9pm. The meeting point with your guide will be at the first car park of Vallter2000 ski resort. It can be booked any day of the week from December to March (both included). These schedule may vary according to weather and snow conditions. The published price of this activity corresponds to 4 people doing the route. If you are a larger group, you can get a special discount. Take a look at the supplement section. If you book this activity you must bring:

  • Appropriate clothes

  • Mountain or hiking boots

  • Waterproof windbreaker

  • Sunscreen and sunglasses, and gloves and a wool hat

  • Battery front light

  • Food and drinks that you think you may need throughout the activity

Remember that it is important to be well equipped when doing the activity. This activity includes the necessary accident and liability insurance, as well as the certified guide.

It's a family activity as it can be done by anyone over 6.

The equipment rental (snowshoes and ski poles) is an extra over the price.
